Here is some exciting news! I just found out this afternoon I will be serving as interim co-chair of social media for the AEJMC PR Division at the upcoming AEJMC Conference in Chicago. Yay! I am truly honored to be able to be part of the social media team during the conference – very excited!
What will attendees of the conference expect from the various social media platforms for AEJMC PR Division? We will be actively engaged with multiple social media platforms to share updates, information, reports from presentations, and images and visuals from the event in real-time. We will be using some of the traditional social media platforms used for conferences, and we will also be testing out some new ones that will be used at the conference as well. Stay tuned! I will keep my blog updated with these developments over the next couple of days.
I have my panel presentation on Thursday, but the rest of the time will be spent covering research and panel presentations, going to professional luncheons and attending a tour of Edelman Chicago (super excited!), and professional division socials via social media. It is going to be a busy conference, but a fabulous one! 🙂
