I had the opportunity and pleasure to be on Charla Young’s new talk show here in Louisville called “Power to Change.” Charla’s show focuses on bringing in guests to talk about a range of current topics we are all facing today ranging from sleep to exercise to information overload.  The show segment I was on was actually on information overload, and I had the chance to talk with Charla about how it is key to have a balance in your life with technology and information.  I was very excited about this opportunity – it was my first time to be on a talk show! 🙂

View of the Power to Change Stage

There are times where you want to have a break from technology – whether you are on vacation or spending time with family over the holidays –  these are moments you want to treasure and remember fully.  However, I mentioned how in some cases, social media and technology has been a lifeline for my family – especially when my sister Kristin was serving over in Iraq in 2008-2009.  My family and I used Facebook to chat and keep updated on what Kristin was doing.  Today, we are actively on various social media platforms communicating with each other  – it is fabulous! 🙂

I really enjoyed my time on the “Power to Change” show.  Charla and her team were very welcoming and generated a very positive atmosphere for the viewers, attendees, and guests of the show.  Below is the Vimeo clip of the show and my segment starts in about 22 minutes in.  Thanks again Charla and everyone with Power to Change for a great time and for allowing me to chat about information overload! 🙂

Hope you all have a great day. By the way – the big Final Four Game is on today against UofL and UKGo Cards! 🙂

Best Wishes,
