What a week this has been! Why do I say that? Well, I started my Ph.D. classes at the University of Tennessee this week! We started on Wednesday, and I am taking four classes this semester (two that meet on Tuesday & Thursdays, and then the other two meet on Wednesday). I like my classes a lot! What is great about this Ph.D. is the fact that I still studying Public Relations, but my Ph.D. is going to be in Communications. I look forward to the rest of the semester! 🙂
I am getting to know my way around the UT campus– I found out pretty quickly that I am going to get my share of exercise just walking around! It’s pretty hilly (I guess that is how UT got the nickname “Rocky Top!”) But it is a really beautiful campus. I love all of the brick buildings, and in many ways– it reminds me a lot of Florida and USC. I see a trend! 🙂 Another neat thing that I found out during my classes is the fact that there are a TON of Florida graduates in the Ph.D. program as well as the faculty! Pretty neat! 🙂
I also have been in the process of moving into my new apartment here in Tennessee, and I am pretty much moved in! I got all my stuff here from California, and started organizing things because I know I am going to be pretty busy with all of my class work! 🙂 Here are some pictures of my apartment.
