Happy Early New Year Everyone!
Yes, another year has come and gone for the Freberg family. A lot has happened in 2007 that was exciting, fun, and really special! 🙂 Here are some of the things that happened this past year:
*Dad is healthy, and has discovered the wonders of the cooking world in fabulous cookbooks such as The Epicurean and others! His paella, bobatie, beef stroganoff, and eclairs are just divine dahling! 🙂 I got to spend time with Dad in the kitchen when I was home– it was a lot of fun and really special! 🙂
*Mom is doing very well in teaching and writing books– and making fabulous cinnamon rolls!!! They are amazing! Also, both Mom and Dad have done amazing with Jenny Craig– they have lost so much weight! Dad has lost over 90 lbs and Mom has lost over 75 lbs– congrats!!! 🙂 I am so proud! 🙂
*Kristin is very successful as a Captain and Company Commander in the Army in Hawaii. In a few months, she will be moving back to the mainland to go to graduate school! 🙂 It is all very exciting and I am so proud! 🙂
*Karla is doing very well in her drawings and art. She has also made some great movies as well! Karla has an amazing talent both in drawing, computers, and making videos! 🙂
As for me— 2007 was a big year of transitions and new adventures. I graduated from USC with my Master’s in Strategic Public Relations in August (but I walked in May). A few days later, I got on a plane for 20 hours to Cape Town, South Africa for my PR internship at Total Media. What a great adventure! After that, I moved across the US to Tennessee to start my Ph.D. program in Communications. It’s been really great! I got straight A’s my first semester, which is really exciting! 🙂
