This was the last day of the conference and it was concluded magnificently with a boat tour of Amsterdam!
Before the boat tour, we had our poster sessions and a series of valuable information packed activities that will take weeks to sort out ! However, probably one of the high lights for me was the opportunity to meet so many splendid academics and practitioners from around the world, including two new friends from South Africa.
By the way, everyone loved my business cards and we’re all promiced to continue as friends on FACEBOOK until we meet next year in RIO! ( My sister Kristin will just love it there!)
In the meantime, here are a few pictures from our final day , including the fabulous finale – a tour of Amsterdam by boat !
So , am I going to rest? No way, on my flight back, I will review the memory stick they sent with every member containing the presentations, papers and posters! On the 5th, I leave Tennessee, again, for a Psychology Conference in Greece! ( Dr. John Cacioppo would be so proud that I am following his advice on becoming more ‘Interdisciplinary!’)
Now for some sleep!
