Here is what I am reading today:
“However, traditional decs just aren’t geeky enough for our tech-loving tastes. To this end we’ve scoured the web for festive ornaments with a geeky or social media twist. From Angry Birds to LEGO via Santa-Bots, we think you’ll like our 10 cool Yule creations. Let us know in the comments which ones you’d stick on your tree.”
“There are a lot of online influencers dominating the platform, but who is the average Google+ user? An infographic from Flowtown and Column Five has the answer:
- More than half (63 percent) of Google+ users are male; 37 percent are female.
- Most users are between the ages of 25 and 34.
- The core of Google+ users live in the United States, but the site is gaining popularity in India.
- Most users are in the middle-class income bracket.
But is Google+ losing steam? While the social networking site claims almost 40 million users, only 17 percent of them are active users.”
“Ever wondered what makes content go viral? I’m sure we’ve all got our own theories, some good some bad, but there would be a bunch of readers here that would have some seriously successful viral campaigns to their name, so I wonder how this infographic shapes up on the viral front…”
(Karen’s Comment: I don’t get into the blame game because resisting wonderful food is part of maintaining a healthy body type. However, I will agree that in Louisville, we have some of the most wonderful restaurants in America!)
