Passport and visa – got it! Nails and hair – but of course, have to look fabulous to present research papers! Luggage – packed and ready to travel. As you can tell, I am getting ready for some traveling. Not just any traveling – but to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the Reputation Institute Conference! That is right, I am heading down to Rio tomorrow night from Knoxville, TN. I have been looking forward to this conference for months – I really enjoyed going to the RI Conferences in Beijing and in Amsterdam last year, and I already know that I am going to have a wonderful time. I am heading down to Rio a day earlier than Kristin, but we will meet up in Rio for the RI Conference. I am excited to meet fellow professionals and make new friends while I am at the conference – as well as attending the fabulous plenary and breakout sessions in reputation management.
While I am in Brazil, I will make sure to post pictures and updates on the research from the conference. The conference will be three days, and then Kristin and I are going to play tourist and see the sights of Brazil. Stay tuned via my blog, website, Facebook, and Twitter!! 🙂
