Don’t these look pretty? 😀  Right beside my workstation in my apartment, I have my two diplomas.  It was really exciting for me when I got my first diploma at the University of Florida (I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Relations).  I was SO happy on graduation day! 😀  I didn’t have much time between finishing my Bachelor’s degree and starting my Master’s degree at USC.  I had about 11 days to be exact!  In those 11 days, I had to move from Florida to California, go to orientation, move into my new place at Bunker Hill, register for classes, and get settled and ready to start school!  Yikes! 😀

When I got my Master’s degree from USC, I was really excited and happy.  I had two years filled with great memories from the track team, going to classes and getting hands-on experience in PR, going to South Africa, and meeting some amazing people.  I am very proud to call myself a USC Alumni, and I really like the way that my diploma frame with my diploma turned out!

I wanted to get diploma frames that kind of symbolized my time at both Florida and USC.  I chose the picture of Ben Griffen Stadium at Florida because I felt that it represented my time at UF.  I remember all the times that I ran stadiums there in the hot weather– yikes! 😀 Also, the College of Journalism and Communication at UF is just on the other side of the stadium, so when I would head off to class, I would always pass by the stadium. 🙂

As for USC, it was a given– I had to get a picture of Tommy!  He symbolizes not only athletics, but academics as well. Tommy is near the track and it is also near Annenberg– plus, he is very cool! 😀
Now, I am starting on another academic adventure– I’m in my fifth week of being a Ph.D. student in Communications at the University of Tennessee.  It’s been really great! 😀

I hope you all are having a great day!

Best Wishes,

Karen
