There are certain places that people in South Africa tell you that you HAVE to go to. Table Mountain, Robben Island, the Wine Country, Kruger National Park… and Madame Zingara’s.
Last night, Stephaney and I went to Madame Zingara’s. We had to make the reservation last week because it is such a popular spot to go to! What exactly is it? Madame Zingara’s is a dinner / show place where you get to have a fantastic four course meal, and get to see a variety of performers to entertain you. From singers to magic to aerial stunts– Madame Zingara’s had it all!
When you first walk it, you are greeted with people all dressed up with very interesting hats and guiding you to your seat. After the appetizer, you are greated by singers and dancers on the main stage at the center of the tent. We were RIGHT in front! Fantastic!!! 🙂
Also, Stephaney and I had the chocolate filet main course. What you say??!! Chocolate STEAK??!! I know that it sounds really weird, but it was really good! We then finished with dessert– just divine! 🙂 The performances were amazing and it was a once in a lifetime experience for sure! What a great way to end a day!
