When you first think of USC– what do you think of? Football of course– thanks to Pete Carroll and the football team! But… basketball? Well– you better start thinking about USC as a basketball powerhouse, because they are in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16!  They play North Carolina this Friday– should be one exciting game!  Go Trojans! 😀

Everyone had these expectations of the team for next year— but hey, why put off what you can do today??!! 😀

I got a chance to go to the USC / OSU basketball game in February and it was great to see all of the USC players and the new Galen Center. What a beautiful facility! Also, I got to hear Coach Tim Floyd’s press conference after the game– and even though he was busy, he stopped by and talked to our Sports PR class. I was really impressed– there are not many good coaches out there, but you can see why athletes want to play basketball at USC. USC has a lot to offer athletes– great education, great athletic tradition, and a great support network. Watch out UCLA, the tides are turning– a new and improved basketball team has emerged.

Fight on!
