Here are a few things I am reading today:

“Control of the House of Representatives hangs in the balance of the 2010 Congressional election. A recent forecast published on The New York Times website anticipates a two-out-of-three chance for a change in power. The election has become a war, with battles being fought locally and nationally, in person, on the news, and online with social media.”

“Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is using user-generated content at the centerpiece of its new “Let the Memories Begin” campaign. By re-purposing user-submitted photos and videos from entertainment and resort venues, Disney is hoping to craft a campaign that helps recapture the good memories individuals have of going to Disney World or Disneyland.”

“NEW YORK (Reuters) – Actor Ashton Kutcher has more than 5 million and when singer John Mayer closed his account his devotees numbered 3.7 million but having a huge following on Twitter is no guarantee of being influential”

“So is the new Twitter interface a step forward, sideways or backward? Will the power users, purists and post-happy pontificators freak along the lines of the Digg revolt a year ago? Any good lessons a CMO might draw from this platform’s attempted migration to increased consumer happiness?”

“Provides information about current mobile applications that might be of interest to law students and lawyers. Download links for apps are provided for Android, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Blackberry, Palm, and other devices. Check back often for new apps!”
