Here are a few stories I liked for today! :
“For job seekers who tweet, tag, and text, there’s something to “like” about this mostly dreary job market: a rise in social media jobs.Three times as many jobs with “social media” in the title were indexed in November by Indeed.com, a search engine for jobs, compared with a year ago. That’s nearly 1,220 job openingslast month compared with nearly 400 in November 2009.”
“McAfee is forecasting that social media platforms, mobile devices and Apple products will be the focus of cybercriminals in 2011. The Santa Clara-based tech security company said location-based services such as Foursquare, as well as popular social media sites like Twitter and URL-shortening websites, will be targeted by online thieves and hackers in its annual McAfee Threat Predictions report released Tuesday.”
“Tim Ferriss is an angel investor (Twitter, StumbleUpon, Evernote, etc.) and author of the #1 New York Times bestsellers The 4-Hour Body and The 4-Hour Workweek. In his spare time, Tim has doctors stab pen-sized needles into his thighs. Ah, social media marketing. Fewer things are so lavishly spent on, yet so poorly measured.”
