Hello everyone! 🙂

As you can see, these are two different type of shoes.  One is a pair that I wore for the past two years– my Nike throwing shoes.  I remember all the times that I smashed my toes against the toe board in the shot put ring– ah, the memories! 🙂  There are a lot of memories for me with these shoes– they remind me of all the times that Dad and I would go out throwing together and working out.  I spent a lot of time throwing in them from junior high at Laguna Middle School, high school at Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo High, and then at my three colleges :):  SMU, Florida, and USC.  These shoes saw many parts of the US, and through hurricanes in Florida and snow storms in Washington– they have lasted and I’ll always remember them. 🙂

And then there are the “new” shoes– the “clacker” shoes, quoting from the movie “The Devil Wears Prada”.  These are not just new shoes, they are Giorgio Armani shoes– the best of the best!!!  In PR, you not only have to present your company professionally to your client– but you have to look the part.  This is a step for me to move from the track/athletic world and into the world of PR.  So, this is going to be the “new” me! 🙂  Should be exciting! 🙂

Life is full of surprises, and I am excited to move on into the PR world! Bring on the clackers! 😀
