Happy Fourth of July!

Today is a great day to celebrate our independence day and be proud to be an American.  Even though I am half-way around the world in South Africa, I am still going to celebrate the 4th of July! 🙂  All we need to do is have a braii and cook some ostrich or springboek, and there you go! 🙂

Plus, you gotta have some traditional American foods as well! 🙂  That is one thing that people have asked me about here in South Africa– what food represents America the best?  I would have to say that it’s either steak, corn on the cob, potato salad, turkey, or apple pie.  There are just so many foods! 🙂

Our class will be at an English pub in Cape Town called Forester’s Arms– should be a lot of fun!  I am sure that I will have plenty of pictures of our dinner / experience!
