In public relations, we not only have to make sure that we are experts in the field and in research, but we also have to look the part. I was told by one of my professors early on in my PR studies that Public Relations professionals do have to invest in how they present themselves to their clients, the media, and target audiences. I definitely agree– and I try to make sure that I look professional and respectable. 🙂 From wearing professional business suits to investing in make up (Shu Uemura and Laura Mercier– my favorite!) and of course– you got to have stylish hair! 🙂
So, I went today to get my hair styled and cut at R&Co in the Turkey Creek Shopping Center here in Farragut, Tennessee. It was amazing to see how busy it was, but I quickly learned why. First, they have excellent customer relations. The waiting time is minimal and the staff is very friendly. I had an appointment to get my hair styled by Dee Dee. She is absolutely fabulous– she does an excellent job and is outgoing and personable. It was a delight to go to R&Co and I plan on going back again!
