Congrats to the Women of Troy for winning the dual meet against UCLA for the first time in 15 years! Woo hoo! 😀 That is so exciting! The meet was held at UCLA this year, and I have to say that this is the dual meet of all dual meets!!!
There is nothing like it– the rivalry between UCLA and USC is pretty intense. Dad said that it was really intense when he competed for UCLA in the 1970s (Dad also graduated from USC with two Masters– an MBA & MSBA). I consider Mom to be an “honorary Trojan” as well as Karla and Kristin. 🙂 Looking that the results definitely brought back memories for me– I was there two years ago competing and it was a really special meet for me– I PRed in all of my events and broke the school record for USC. It was definitely a great day! 🙂
Anyway, Congrats to the USC team— I am really proud of you all and keep up the great work at PAC-10s, Regionals, NCAAs, and the Olympics! Fight On Always! 🙂
