I had the chance to be interviewed by two great professors at the University of Louisville – Ralph Merkel and Mary Ashlock – during their segment of Comm Chat, a weekly video session where the hosts (Ralph and Mary) bring in guests to talk about current issues and trends related to the Communications Department at the University of Louisville.

The most recent episode of Comm Chat actually featured me – 🙂 –  and it was a pleasure talking with both Mary and Ralph about my background and the reason I decided to come to the University of Louisville.  Plus, we did chat a bit about athletics and how the academic world is very similar to the athletic world.  Only difference is that I am not throwing things (aka shot puts) anymore! 🙂  Here is the video:

I have been at the University of Louisville now for a couple of months, and I have truly enjoyed being part of the Cardinal culture and tradition. The students, faculty, and staff have all been wonderful in making my time so far in Louisville wonderful.  I have had the chance to teach, research, and continue to grow as a lifelong learner and professional.

Hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Best Wishes,

Karen
