One of the things that I was super excited about coming to New Orleans (besides attending the fabulous RI Conference!) was to get a taste of Louisiana cuisine and take a foodie tour of the city.  One place that I thought would be extra special to go to would be Emeril’s Delminico restaurant. Luckily – I made reservations (thanks to the Open Table app on my iPad) for tonight! 🙂

Words cannot describe how excited I am about going to a restaurant whose reputation is famous and well-know around the world.  The original Delmonico’s restaurant first began in New York, and world-renown chef Emeril Lagasse brought the establish restaurant to New Orleans in 1998.  What makes Delmonico’s stand out from the rest of the crowd is that with the leadership of Chef Lagasse and integrating the tradition of high standards across all products and services within the restuarant, Delmonico’s reputation continues to be one of the strongest in the restaurant industry.

Not only am I excited to have a once in a lifetime experience by having fabulous cuisine, but Delmonico’s does have a strong place in my family.  My Dad said that Delmonico’s is one of the best restaurants and its reputation has stayed strong over the many years.  I am truly excited about my reservation tonight and looking forward to having a first hand experience with the legendary and extraordinary cuisine of Delmonico’s and chef Emeril Lagasse.
