As you can tell from my blog posts, I have really enjoyed my time here in South Africa and their wonderful cuisine! I know– I’m trying to be good on Jenny Craig! 🙂
Anyway, one of the things that I wanted to get my Dad from South Africa is a cookbook. We share the love of food for sure! 🙂 I asked around Total Media, and my co-worker Astrid said that Lannice Snyman’s cookbooks are the ones that YOU MUST get!
The recipes are just amazing! What I really like about Lannice’s cookbooks is the fact that they not only have recipes, but they talk about the history and background of the dish and where it came from in South Africa. I thought that Dad would really like it– he wants to have some ostrich when I get back to the States! 🙂
