I have been in Cape Town for a month so far. WOW! It’s gone by pretty fast! I am getting to know my way around pretty well in Cape Town. What is amazing is how easy it is to get around by cab or just walking! So far, I have come to realize several things since I have been in South Africa:
1) I will have to make sure that I am driving on the right side of the road instead of the left side of the road. That would be scary!
2) I will have to get used to having money without any animals on it. I looked at some dollars the other day– I have gotten used to carry around rand that I was like– wow!
3) I am going to miss the wonderful and fabulous South African cooking (especially my game meals with mashed potatoes and tomato sauce!)
I’m keeping pretty busy during my internship at Total Media. I have been able to do a lot of research and writing, which is really great. I am also getting a chance to learn about different industries in South Africa as well. From fashion to food to fitness to creme liquor— it is all good to me! 🙂
