As most of my friends and family know, I have been on Jenny Craig now for almost three years, and it has been one of the best decisions that I have made.  I feel much healthier now and I am able to go and do activities that I thought would never be possible for me to do (ex. kickboxing, climbing the Great Wall in China, etc.)

However, during the last three years, I have done some extensive international traveling for both school and professional reasons.  I first went to South Africa in 2007 for my PR internship for Total Media in Cape Town, and I was there for three months.  I had just been on Jenny Craig for a couple of months, and I was worried that I would gain all of my weight back (the food in South Africa was just divine!)  So, Dad mailed me off some Jenny Craig Complete Start cereal to me – and that was absolutely fabulous! 🙂

One day, I was walking around the Waterfront in Cape Town with JC in toll, and I stopped right in front of one of the main landmarks in South Africa, Table Mountain.  I remember thinking – hmmm, wouldn’t it be cool to take a picture of the JC cereal and send it back to my consultants and say – hey!  JC is in South Africa! 🙂 So, I took the picture and sent it off to Mom and Dad – and it was an immediate hit.  So, a new travel tradition has been formed!  While I was in China for the RI Conference last year, Kristin and I took a picture of me at the Great Wall in China with the JC Complete Start Cereal.

This year – JC has definitely done some serious traveling!  First, I went to the Netherlands for the RI Conference, and took a picture of the cereal in front of the Netherlands flag.  Then – it was off to Greece!  Mom and I got a picture with the JC cereal in front of the Temple of Poseidon in Greece.  Kristin has even gotten into the tradition – she got the picture of JC in Vatican City!! WOW!  I am not sure if I can top that one! 🙂

So – Jenny Craig as you can see has traveled the world and has truly become not only a huge part in our daily lives for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but it has definitely become a travel adventure tradition for the Freberg family. 🙂

Hope you all are having a great day!

Best Wishes,

Karen
