It’s a very busy day in Boston at the annual Association for Psychological Sciences conference! First , we are presenting our study on ‘Snakes in Suits’ which turned out to be a bit surprising. How similar to Psychopaths are C.E.O.’s? You’ll have to read the study! 😉
However, since my entire family was virtually first in line to buy the wireless 3G 64 GB iPad, I was very pleased to read about the successful release in England! The iPad certainly has revolutionized how I do things!
“Hordes of Apple fans descended on the company’s flagship London store on Friday for the launch of the iPad, touted as a revolution in personal computing.
Some fans had camped out overnight to get their hands on the new product, with about 40 enthusiasts already waiting outside the flagship Apple store in central London, at 3am (0200 GMT).
Most of them were sitting on deck chairs and some were wrapped in sleeping bags and blankets.
Staff escorted the first group of customers one by one up to buy their iPad after they opened the doors at 8am, whooping, chanting and cheering.”
My sister Kristin and my friend Guy keeping tabs on the convention with their iPads! There is no cure for iPad envy, but scientists are hopeful! 😉
In Dr. John Cacioppo’s wonderful book on ‘Loneliness’. I wonder if he’d say the cure for ‘iPad loneliness’ is to buy one?
