Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope that you all are having a wonderful time with your family and loved ones.  Christmas is a wonderful time of the year to spend quality moments with those that you care about and to share memories and happiness with music, fabulous food, and extraordinary people. Christmas this year has been special in so many ways – it is the first one that we have all been together in the past three years.  Last year, Kristin was serving her second tour in Iraq, so it was really special to have all of the members of the Freberg family together. 🙂  Karla made an amazing drawing of the Freberg family Christmas for this year – thanks Karla! 🙂

Our Christmas here at the Freberg family started off very fabulous.  Even though I am getting up in age (three years till I’m 30 – woo hoo!), I still am up at the crack of dawn awaiting to come downstairs to gather around in the living room to open presents and see everyone’s reactions to their gifts.  We all gathered around the tree and exchanged gifts and got our stocking stuffers.  It was very fabulous!  To top off the morning, Mom and Dad made some AMAZING cinnamon and blueberry raisin rolls – they were just divine!

Our Christmas meal will be consisting of Turgoosen (Turkey, goose, duck, and chicken all together!), mashed potatoes, peas, dinner rolls, corn bread, gravy, and Dad’s fabulous apple pie.  As you can see, we are indeed a family of foodies!  With classic Christmas music playing, it has really created such a warm environment that makes me so thankful to have such an amazing family.  Thank you Mom, Dad, Kristin, and Karla – I love you all so very much! 🙂

I would like to wish everyone that is serving abroad in the armed forces a very warm and Merry Christmas – thank you so much for your service and courage in protecting our way of life.  God bless you! I hope that you all have a wonderful, fabulous, special, and Merry Christmas! 🙂

Best Wishes,

Karen
