Meeting a Long-term Goal, thanks to Jenny Craig!: Getting into a size 10 pair of designer jeans!

Shock.

Amazement.

Puzzlement.

Excitement.

You are probably wondering why I am feeling this way– that is because I got into something that I have never thought was possible!   When it first happened, I was like how Mike Myers was in “Wayne’s World”– No Way!  Way! 🙂  Today, I got into a pair of jeans that I thought was nearly impossible and considered to be the size that Barbie would wear.  I tried on a pair of DKNY Jeans that was a size 10.  Yes, that is TEN!!!!!!

When I first started on Jenny Craig last year, I was in a size 22, but that wasn’t the biggest size that I ever won.  I was a size 26 in high school, and weighed in about 360 lbs.  I know– amazing!  I look at pictures from my junior year and I was like– wow!  Is that me?  But it is a lot of motivation to make sure that I never go back there. 🙂

It’s been a hard and tough road to get to where I am today, but it was well worth it!  I would have never thought that I would be in a size 10 pair of pants.  If you would have said that a thrower that could bench press over 300 lbs and squat 740 lbs would EVER wear designer jeans– I would have been like, is this April Fool’s Day??!!

As soon as I was done with track, I knew that I had to get the throwin’ weight off not only for getting into smaller clothes, but for health reasons.  By losing the weight, I am healthier, more active, and have more energy each day! 🙂 It’s been a great experience!  Thanks Jenny Craig! 🙂
