We had a great Christmas at the Freberg family home! It seems that no matter how old my sisters and I get– we always seem to wake up just a little bit earlier than most days on Christmas! Everyone enjoyed their presents and had a great breakfast (well, Mom, Dad and I had our lovely Jenny muffins, but that was okay!)
We had the Turducken for a late lunch– and I must say– the Turducken this year was WONDERFUL!!! Dad made a beautiful meal with amazing stuffing, potatoes, veggies, and Mom made her famous dinner rolls– it was a great feast! I overdid it of course, but hey– one day a year– that is okay! 🙂 One thing that happened after the meal during dessert was pretty funny to me. I had been looking forward to having some ice cream (my absolute favorite dessert) and I couldn’t finish it!! I was like— what is happening to me??!! It seems that with this Jenny Craig diet, my stomach got smaller! Amazing! 🙂
