What do you think of when the term “safari” comes to mind? Do you visualize sleeping under the stars, consuming only what you can capture on the hunting trail or what you schlepped in your ruck sack? I am sure some people still do that sort of thing, but going on a Safari today can mean so much more!
Are we suffering under the hot South African Sun? I don’t think so. Are we getting annoying flies or mosquitos? Nope! We’re having fun!

Soon, we will be heading back home — and for some of us, it means finishing our second year of the two year Masters Program in either Public Relations or Journalism — for me — I am now finished with my Masters — and that means I will be starting my Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee in a couple of weeks! yikes!
I have made some wonderful contacts here in South Africa. I plan to stay in touch, and who knows, I may be right back here in a year or so on a new project!
