What does Traveling, Social Media, and Running all have in common?: My 101 in 1001 Days Challenge

What does travel, running, and professional networking opportunities in social media all have in common? Well, these are just some of the items on my 101 in 1001 Days Challenge!

Kristin and I right before our graduations in 2011

I got inspired by Kristin with her 101 in 1001 days challenge (check out her list here on her blog). Kristin has some great items here! I think this is a great way to set certain personal and professional goals for the next year but also keep you on task for what you want to do in the next several years.  With my list, I have many professional goals that I have listed ranging from presenting at various conferences to networking to even publishing.  However, I also have many personal goals listed here as well related to travel, learning new skills, and exploring more of the world.

I think this is a great exercise and I really do appreciate Kristin leading the way in this – it really got me thinking about what I would like to do in the next 1001 days.  Of course, having the opportunity to contribute $10 to savings for each task accomplished is also a good incentive.  Imagine the amount of coffee that will buy! :)

If you are interested in participating in this challenge – let me know and it will be fun to be part of this journey together. Thanks again to Kristin for this inspiration! Hope you all are having a great day!

Best Wishes,

Karen
