It seems that Reebok is going to be launching a PR campaign targeting various audiences to promote “Run Easy.”  The spokespeople that are being showcased in this campaign for Reebok range from basketball player Allen Iverson to football player Vince Young.

According to Reebok’s operating officer Uli Becker, they want to do this campaign to Its about time to make a bold stance and bring the fun back into running and invite consumers of all levels of athletic ability to participate.  Through our Run Easy movement, Reebok is defying the way competitor brands position running as a push-the-limits ideal.

Reebok will be targeting the media heavily through media campaigns and special running events, along with a new web site.  It will be interesting to see how Reebok’s campaign will target their various audiences, especially in the track and field / running community.
