Happy Holdiays, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah.... and Great and Merry Football!

I would have to say that the Freberg Family had a great year in 2006.  Lots of events have happened that have really been positive and great!  Here were some of the highlights:

*Kristin moving to Hawaii and becoming a Captain in the Army!

*Karla continuing to do great art work and computer animations!

*Mom writing psychology books and continuing to be a great college professor! 🙂

*Dad is healthy, has been a great workout partner both in weightlifting and doing the stairmaster, has joined Jenny Craig,  and has his new blog!

Me?  Well– I got a chance to finish my last year of eligibility for the USC Trojans (which I became an All-American and the USC School record-holder) and the USC Women’s team finished 2nd in the 2006 Outdoor National Championships!  We were also West Regional Champs as well along with the USC Men’s Tracka nd Field team.  Another highlight of the year was that I finished my first full year as a Public Relations Graduate Student.  Only a few more months to go! 🙂

Lots of great things have happened in 2006, so what is in the future for the year 2007?  The Freberg family is certainly going to be busy!  Here are some of the things to expect from me :D:

*I will be graduating from USC in Summer 2007 (woo hoo!)

*Continue to help out with the USC Track and FIeld team as a graduate assistant

*I will head to Capetown, South Africa for two months over the summer for a PR Internship– lots of fun!

*After graduation, I will be starting my Ph.D. (got the applications all ready)!

So, there are a lot of exciting and wonderful things that are going to happen in 2007– and that’s great!

Have a Happy New Year! 🙂

Best Wishes,

Karen
