Hi everyone, 😀

One of my goals for the summer has been to try to do activities that would help me with my fitness.  I have been home in San Luis Obispo visiting my family, and one of the projects that I have been working on is gardening.  You ask– gardening helps you lose weight?  After my experience today– that is a big yes!  You would be amazed on how many calories you burn! 😀

Not only does breaking branches, bagging leaves, and clipping bushes makes you sweat– but also finding black widows.  Yes, I said black widows– we get a lot of them in SLO. 

 

Even after I went to see the movie “Eight-legged Freaks”– I still do not like spiders.  So after I was done gardening– I checked like 10 times to see if I had any little creatures on me.  I was very happy to see that I didn’t have any on me!

Well– I am off to do some research.  What?  School work over the summer you ask?  I am actually getting a head start on my thesis– I am going to start getting some references so I have them in time for when school starts for me in August.  I feel that I am being proactive here. 😀
