After months of working on creating content, recording videos, reviewing the transcripts and videos from the lessons, editing and formatting slide decks, I am excited to see the new social media certification released tomorrow (July 10th) from HubSpot Academy!
I am very excited for the great team at HubSpot (Crystal, Isaac, Eric, and Jordan) for this amazing new certification. This is going to be a great contribution to the growing list of amazing certifications we can offer to our students and incorporate into our classes. Plus – it is FREE!
What will the social media certification feature?
- It will be eight lessons focused on the strategic application of social media, ranging from topics such as Social Media Strategy to Listening/Monitoring, to Essentials for Continued Success (this was the lesson I was able to do!)
- Quizzes and a certification exam for students and professionals to take.
- Videos from some of the leading experts in the field like Mari Smith, Dennis Yu, and the great and talented team at HubSpot!
- A sample syllabus on how to incorporate this certification into your classes (been working on this as well) with additional readings, resources, suggested books, and discussion activities to incorporate into classes based on the material covered in the certification.
The certification will launch tomorrow, and you can get more of these details during the Live Professor Event. I am very excited and honored to be part of this session with Crystal King, who has been the lead on this certification for HubSpot.
