No more of these mud bars….

Well– this is the first day of the new diet and exercise plan for me.  I thought when I was doing track that this wouldn’t be too bad.  I thought, “Hey, this will give me great results and then I can go shopping for new clothes!”  I have lost a lot of weight before, so I thought that this was going to be pretty easy to do. 

 But– I forgot all the pain and feeling totally hungry 24/7!  I have cut down my portions and started eating a lot more vegetables– and I have begun something that was completely foreign to me as a thrower– running.  I would have considered a long distance run for me would be MAYBE two laps on a good day.  Today– I did about 1.5 miles.  I thought I was going to die– I thought, “Who likes doing this?”  What is really scary is that I already see the results– which means that it works– bummer!  I wish there was a way that you could lose weight easily.  I am feeling the same way as Ron did in “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” when it comes to spiders.  Why couldn’t it be follow the butterflies?  Hey– why couldn’t it be eat all the steak and cookies you want?! 🙂  Oh well! 🙂

 I am also doing some weightlifting too in addition to my running.  I am doing 5 sets of 10 on both the bench, leg press, and pulldowns everyday– plus doing at least 250-300 ab exercises a day.  Right now– I am ready to take a nap!  I will keep you posted on my days ahead.  Stay Tuned and Have a great day!! 🙂
