The Hole front woman’s March 17, 2009 Twitter tirade against fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir resulted in a defamation lawsuit that will go to trial in a Los Angeles court on January 18. Love, long known for her rambling rants on the popular social networking platform, railed against Simorangkir for a myriad of perceived misdeeds, including prostitution, drug use, assault and—perhaps worst of all—capitalizing on Love’s fame to further her own career.”
