One of the great things about Cape Town is the fact that there are so many places to see and do! From going on helicopter tours, 🙂 to petting cheetahs– it has been an amazing trip! Each week, we meet for class and today we got to go to the District Six Museum in the heart of Cape Town.
The District Six museum is dedicated to the people that had to move out of their homes during the apartheid era and be relocated. It was quite interesting to see the photos, old street signs, and displays at the museum.
Above is a picture of me listening to our tour guide at the District Six Museum. My friend Ryan, who is studying photojournalism at Annenberg, took this picture of me.
Here is a link to more of my photos!
Have a great day!
Best Wishes,
Karen
