Ciao!
Viaggierò a Milano, Italia in maggio per il congresso dell’istituto di reputazione! 🙂

So, to translate this – I am very excited to share with you all that I will be presenting at the upcoming Reputation Institute Conference in Milan, Italy this upcoming May.  I have had the privilege to present at the annual RI Conference for the last couple of years in Beijing, Amsterdam, Rio de Janeiro, and New Orleans last year.

The research study I will be presenting on was a project I worked on with Kristin (my older sister), Kathleen Vidoloff, and Gina Eosco.  This study was focusing on how to construct or analyze what is a “good crisis message” on social media in a crisis situation, and how this can impact a reputation of an organization, agency, or individual actively engaged on social media.

It was a very fascinating study to be a part of.  In addition – it was wonderful to work with such great professionals and researchers on this project coming in from various disciplines and backgrounds.  Kathleen and I met a few years ago and have been working together in crisis communications, and Gina is coming in from a risk communications and weather research and practice background.  Kristin has been actively working in research and teaching in systems engineering at West Point and is interested in risk analysis.  This project would have not been possible without the hard work, dedication, and strategic insights from each of these fabulous ladies – thank you Kristin, Kathleen, and Gina! 🙂

I am very excited about being part of this wonderful conference again – the Reputation Institute is a great organization to be a part of and their conferences are always a great place to share and communicate with other professionals and researchers around the world and learn about current trends and practices emerging in the field of reputation management.  This conference is by far one of my favorites to go to and present at.  I am looking forward to seeing these professionals and their presentations in Milan in a few months.

Hope you all are having a wonderful day.

Best Wishes,

Karen
